Eye serums deliver similar results to eye creams, but much faster, and with less fuss. They’re relatively new on the market, so a lot of people have questions about using them. Here are a few tips on using eye serums.
1.) Avoid rubbing. The area around your eyes is incredibly delicate, and far less resistant to rubbing than the rest of your face. Try tapping the eye serum on instead.
2.) Apply eye serum to the orbital bone only. Some of the product will make its way to the skin immediately around your eyes, regardless. There’s no need to apply eye serums directly to this area for this reason.
3.) They’re great with makeup. Eye serums don’t leave much if any, residue behind. This makes them an excellent product for those who’re really into eye makeup, or simply for those who prefer a less greasy feel than with traditional eye creams.
