Anytime Menstrual Cup

Anytime Menstrual Cup PH aims to provide Filipinas with good quality, affordable, and reusable period protection in the form of a cup-type insertion. Made of a high quality silicone used in the medical and food industry, each cup works by creating a vacuum-like seal once inserted to prevent leakage as it gathers menstrual flow. It can collect 3 times more liquid compared to ordinary pads or tampons, and depending on the strength of flow, will provide protection from leaks for up to 4 to 6 hours for heavy, strong flow and 8 to 20 hours for average flow—letting you last a full day before emptying the cup out. It not only helps you cut out the use of plastic during your monthly cycle but also is perfect for providing comfort and security during physical activities, including water-related sports.

This is an okay product for me. Though this is very environmental friendly, this needs a very thorough walk through on how to use this. Though I enjoyed this, I can't say that I always be using this. As this is very messy especiallg when using it outside the house. And on my very heavy days, i need to pour out every 2-3 hours.

Pwede na

It's my first time to use a menstrual cup. I tried it because I was curious and I wanted to save money on buying pads since I always consume two packs of pads in one cycle. Pros: you won't feel that it's in there. You can do any activity without having to worry if it's already full since you can use it for 8 straight hours on regular flow. It doesn't give any itchy, wet, or wedgy feeling like how the napkins do. Once you remove the cup, the blood don't smell like how it is with a pad. No stink or anything, it just smells like fresh blood. Cons: you have to wear a liner on heavy days as it tends to leak sometimes. It also feels weird and a bit difficult to put it inside but once you find the kind of fold that's comfortable for you, it gets easy eventually. Pulling it out can be difficult because if you're not able to get it out at first, it's going to get sucked inside more. Overall, I'm satisfied. I plan to use this going forward instead of pads.

worth a try!

It really does it claim of zero waste if you will use it alone hehe. Used it recently on my last cycle and I'm still getting a hang of using it. There's still some leaks during bed time maybe because I am lying down and a few on day time. So there's still a need of using thin pads or kung nasa bahay lang naman thin cloth pads nalang. Viewed some vlogs and reviews and it gives me to think maybe I need to try different shape or size or brand that fits me well to totally avoid leaks. I get to that point na akala ko nalaglag sya hehe kasi parang I can't feel it inside na after few hours na lumipas after doing house hold chores. 5 hours of use palang natatry ko but it claimed maximum of 12 hours depends on your flow. Slight pain on insert and removal of the cup, kasi cguro medyo thick yung mouth nung cup. I haven't see other brand of menstrual cup pa naman. So If I'm going to buy different cup I will find one that has a thinner mouth for easy use.

Menstrual cups are great!! But maybe try a different brand

I’ve had this cup for about a year now. I did research on different brands and on menstrual cups in general, and to be honest this wasn’t/isn’t my first choice for a number of reasons. 1.) Do a quick google search on “generic/cheap menstrual cups —are they safe” and you’ll understand why this brand seems iffy. (I eventually decided to still buy this though lol. You can too, but be sure to make an informed decision) 2.) Even without my apprehensions re: the reputability/safety of this brand, I personally just don’t think Anytime is the most well-designed cup: the rim isn’t sectioned off for better suction, the shape is off, etc. 3.) I still get very frequent leaks even though I know how to use a menstrual cup properly (I’ve had this for a year!) *This apparently works ok for some people though (it does for my friend), you never know. Our bodies are different. But I’ll be replacing my Anytime cup soon with a Sinaya Cup. A bit more expensive, but definitely a more reliable local brand (i.e. definitely not a knock-off and definitely made of medical-grade silicone) and in my opinion, more well-designed (shape, rim, thickness)

Still learning to use it but getting there

I've only tried this for two cycles, I think. I think I'm getting the hang of it, and I have no leaks probably around 90% of the time. Girls just need patience to practice though, as it can get a bit tricky making this work. But considering the impact of not using any more menstrual pads (financial and environmental impact!!) is enough motivation for me to want to use this more in the future. I also got this on sale so I would say it's really sulit!

Best move if you really want to be sustainable!

We all know as girls that pads and tampons are just so wasteful! With me having irregular periods and bleeding for long periods of time, it’s so inconvenient and expensive to use disposable pads and tampons. Plus pads and tampons have been known as factors to hormonal imbalance as well. I’ve always wanted to try a menstrual cup so when this went on sale here, I immediately bought it. At first, it was just so challenging to put it in. The scary thing was, it was even more challenging to get it out!! I did read and watched reviews though on how to put in and pull out a cup so thank you, internet! It was one thing to watch and another thing in really trying it out. It was initially harder than I thought it was. TIP IN GETTING IT OUT: Use your poop flex!! Don’t try to take it out on an empty stomach also. You’ll most likely fail hahaha! Using it really needs practice and it’s quite inconvenient to use if you’re rushing to go out but this could definitely save you a lot of money. Based on my experience, this cup could last you 12hrs or more if you are on your light period without taking it out. While it could last about 8-10 hrs on medium period and about 3-6 hrs on heavy period. There’s no clear indicator to know when it’s time to pull it out but to wear a liner just to be sure. If you see any spot on your liner, better to take it out and empty your cup and of course wash before you put it in. Also always make sure that your hands are clean and your nails are trimmed. Haven’t tried other brands but they said this could last at least 5 years!! Value for money!
