If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, why not start out with something that makes you feel good? For us, that’s anything with almond butter.

At BeautyMNL, we’re big fans of the alternative nut spread. Not only is it filling enough to tide us over until lunch, it also revs up a sluggish metabolism. Thanks to protein, fiber, and a healthy dose of good fats, a spoonful will give you a lasting energy boost.
To up its wow factor, people who replace their peanut butter with almond butter are slimmer too. (Just look at supermodels Miranda Kerr and Martha Hunt!) It may seem small, but even studies show it can make a big difference in your body.

In fact, one study showed that people who ate almond butter daily kept weight off. Of course, it also goes without saying that the almond butter you eat matters as well. Anything that’s packed with unnatural oils or sugar won’t have the same effect.
Our almond butter of choice is The Fit Nut PH Sugar-Free Almond Butter. It’s made with only two ingredients: raw almonds and stevia, which is a zero-calorie sweetener. Basically, it’s the next-best thing to eating the actual nut.

While it tastes good on pan de sal or right out of the jar, it’s not the only way to enjoy this spread. Do it justice with our 3 tried-and-tested, healthy recipes. Each one of these require no baking and minimal work. Trust us, you’ll love to wake up to one of these!
